Idea
of the exhibition:
The
exhibition is to present all kinds of origami woks connected with human.
We’d like to present paper dolls, human figures, human masks, clothes
etc. – folded by it’s authors. We’ll also present the “men behind
the fold”; each work will be accompanied with a photo and a brief info
about the author.
We
plan to show the classics known from the origami publications both with
new unpublished works.
The
exhibition will be placed at the Museum of H. Sienkiewicz
in Poznan.
You
are all welcome to present Your works
Contest:
New
and unpublished works can be submitted to the contest. The best works will
be chosen by people visiting the exhibition. All the works must be
connected to the subject of the exhibition. Prizes to be won!!!
Catalogue:
The
exhibition will be accompanied with a catalogue including photos of all
the works, info about authors and if donated the diagrams for the
presented folds.
The
catalogue will be published on CD (free to all the authors presenting on
the exhibition)
The
exhibition will take place at the H. Sienkiewicz Museum in Poznan. Opening
is planned for the second half of May 2003 and the exhibition will be
opened for 6 weeks. (more details will be announced in December)
